JX4 and Mt Performance horses

Juice grew up in Louisville, OH working on his family dairy farm and when ever time allowed enjoyed traveling to rodeos competing in the steer wrestling and team roping events. Although the rodeos may be a thing of the past for now he fills that void with raising and competing with bucking bulls. Along with his Father, Jeff and his Brother, Josh they own and operate Chosen Acres which is a dairy consulting, service and supply company.

Jen grew up in Wooster, OH working on her family dairy farm also. She started riding at an early age and it grew into a passion of learning a variety of disciplines. After graduation she traveled and worked with different trainers learning all she could about the different styles of riding, which she then brought back to Ohio and started JX4.

Juice and Jen married in 2005 and have two beautiful daughters Jadelynn and Jemma. They started riding before they could walk and have been successfully showing in the AQHA all around events. Both girls also share a passion for playing youth travel and school volleyball in the horse show offseason.

At Jx4 we are a family run farm in Massillon, OH that allows Jen and the girls to  share their love for showing horses, training, giving lessons, sales, boarding and now the newest venture, breeding.

Marion and Kirsty started giving the girls lessons in 2016 “as a result of mom knows nothing.” From there the friendships of Juice and Jen, Marion and Kirsty evolved into partnering on prospect horses over the years which led us into the partnership purchase of Vinny. We can only hope that Vinny has the stellar stud career that his show career has been under Marion and Kirsty’s program.

Marion grew up in rural Millersburg, OH. Horses where always a big part of his life and by the age of 14 had a small colt breaking business started. From there he would branch out and work for several top trainers in the Quarter Horse industry before establishing MT Performance horses in 2013.

Kirsty grew up riding horses at her aunts Stable in Winnipeg, MB Canada. She started showing horses at a young age at local open shows. Soon after started showing in the all around events at the Quarter Horse circuit.

In 2011 Marion and Kirsty met after she purchased a horse from Piper Performance Horses where he was working at the time. They dated for several years and in 2016 were married in Wooster, OH where they now live and operate MT Performance Horses. 

Marion and Kirsty really enjoy starting young horses and developing them into world caliber show horses. Besides training and showing horses they breed a few mares every year and are really excited about growing this part of their business.

In 2018 Marion and Kirsty expanded their family with the birth of 

Walker Jay Troyer. They eagerly await the arrival of baby
